Santa Monica/Universal Studios

We had a fantastic day today!  I'm going to keep this brief because it's super late and the wifi is super slow, but more details to follow as soon as possible:

We started our day in Santa Monica, and it was gorgeous.  We walked along the beach to the pier and down to the outdoor shopping district.

And we couldn't resist to dip our feet in the Pacific Ocean.

 Or play in the sand.

The kids (and teachers ;o) had such a fun time at Universal Studios!  The rides were amazing!  We were even able to preview the new Transformers ride that doesn't open until May 25th.

Frankenstein is having some fun with Mr. Lepage!

After dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe, our tour guide Sharon, surprised us with a nighttime trip to the Griffin Observatory.   We were able to see some amazing views of Los Angeles from the Hollywood Hills.  The picture below is of the pendulum in the observatory.

The kids are behaving wonderfully.  We are so proud of them and how wonderfully they are representing our school!  Tomorrow we are having a tour of L.A. and Hollywood and then we will be traveling to Henderson, Nevada in the afternoon.
